Cricket Betting Markets
There are many ways to bet on cricket — not just who will win. Whether it's BPL, IPL, or the T20 World Cup, robi9 has a wide range of markets.
Which team will win the match. Example: Bangladesh vs India — pick either side.
Bet on which team wins the toss before the match starts — quick result, straightforward market.
Which batsman will score the most runs in an innings — place your bet on any player in the team.
Whether the total runs in an innings will be more or less than a set number — example: over or under 160 runs.
Bet on how many runs will be scored in a specific over. Powerplay overs are particularly popular.
Which player will receive the best performance award at the end of the match — a high-odds market.
How the next wicket will fall — bowled, caught, run out, or LBW — a unique market.
Live In-Play Betting
Odds shift with every wicket and over as the match is in progress. When a wicket falls, the batting team's odds rise; after a big over, they drop. Knowing when to act is the key strategy in live betting.

How to Read Odds
In betting, odds represent the potential reward on a wager. Different countries use different formats to express odds. robi9 typically uses the decimal format, which is easy to understand.
Decimal Odds
Multiply the odds number by your stake to get the total return (including your stake).
Example: You bet ৳500 at odds of 1.80.
Total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900
Profit = ৳900 − ৳500 = ৳400
Implied Probability
To calculate the probability of winning from decimal odds: 1 ÷ odds × 100. Example: at odds of 1.80, probability = 1 ÷ 1.80 × 100 ≈ 55.6%.
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳180 return on a ৳100 bet |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit on a ৳5 bet |
| American | −125 | ৳100 profit on a ৳125 bet |
| American (+) | +150 | ৳150 profit on a ৳100 bet |
The decimal format is the simplest and most widely used in Bangladesh. robi9 displays decimal odds by default.
Myths & Facts About Gambling
Many players start betting with some common misconceptions. Knowing the facts helps you play more responsibly.
"A slot machine is now 'due' to pay out"
FactEvery spin is completely independent and random. Previous results have no effect on the next spin — there is no "due cycle."
"Placing a bigger bet can recover losses"
FactPlacing a bigger bet after a loss does not reduce risk — it increases it. Evaluate each bet on its own merits and never make decisions based on emotion.
"A specific strategy can always guarantee a win"
FactNo betting system — Martingale, Fibonacci, or anything else — can guarantee long-term profit. The house edge is always present.
"Hot and cold streaks predict the next result"
FactA few wins or losses do not make a "streak." In RNG-driven games, every event is completely independent — past results do not determine the future.
"Getting a bonus increases your chances of winning"
FactA bonus extends your playing time but does not guarantee any particular win. Read the wagering requirements before accepting a bonus.
"Online casinos are always rigged"
FactEstablished game providers (Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, JILI) use RNG that is tested by third parties. Ensuring fair play is in their own business interest.

robi9 — Our Story
robi9 was built on a simple but powerful idea — that every online gamer in Bangladesh should be able to play in their own language, with their own payment methods, and in their own currency. We believe a language barrier should never stand in the way of a good gaming experience.
Our goal is not just to provide games — we want to build a complete ecosystem where Bangladeshi players can find everything in one place, from cricket betting to live casino. From Dhaka to Chittagong — the same high standard of service for players everywhere.
We believe in transparency. Bonus terms are clear, withdrawals are fast, and support is always available in Bengali. At robi9, you are not just a user — you are part of our community.
Legal Notice
robi9 is an international online gaming platform. It does not claim approval from any specific license or regulatory body.
The legal situation around online betting in Bangladesh is complex. The Public Gambling Act of 1867 was primarily enacted to regulate land-based gambling — online gaming did not exist at that time. As a result, the legal position on online betting is unclear and is interpreted in various ways.
Each user is responsible for independently learning about the local laws and regulations applicable in their area and making decisions accordingly. Full legal responsibility for using this platform rests entirely with the user.
Age restriction: robi9 is for users aged 21 and above only. Minors are not permitted to open an account.
